I Heart...

... The filling inside See's Pecan Rolls

... Driving home listening to Jack's Mannequin (They are taking the spot in my heart dedicated to All- American Rejects. They are slackers and haven't put out a CD in FOREVER!)
... My pink "porno" drapes
... The fact that my bedding matches Sarah Morris' bedding. She's 4!
... Cottage Cheese and Ruffles Potato Chips
... Special K Bliss Bars
... Having the perfect sweater with the perfect pockets to put my iPod in
... The fact that my iPod and my phone are both green, though my favorite color is orange. Makes me laugh every time I pull them out.
... My fuzzy hoodie that is roasty toasty warm!
... That Christmas has thrown up in my house.

Smoking in a Winter Wonderland

So here is my story. I warned you, I will sound like a brat, but I guess the jig is up! Yesterday was the first big snow fall in Utah. It made for a rough commute, which made for a somewhat grouchy start to my morning. I get up to work (for those of you that do not know, I work up in Park City) and just as I pull into the parking lot, an employee from the neighboring store came out for a morning cigarette. Right as he was lighting up, a big pile of snow slid off the roof of the building and fell right on him. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. I had to hide myself in my car until I was composed enough to walk into work. Thankfully when I got out of my car, he had given up on that cigarette and went back inside.
However, when I came back from getting my mail a few minutes later, he was once again outside trying to get in his morning nicotine. This time he had learned his lesson. He was standing in the middle of the parking lot, no where near any roofs!

Working in a Winter Wonderland

So I had a story to go along with this pic, but decided it made me sound like a brat (which for the record, I am.. but I like to keep up appearances) so I decided to nix the story. I enjoyed the picture so much that I'm still going to share it.

Electrophobia

I came to a realization today. I have electrophobia. This is fear of electric shock. How did I come to this conclusion after 24 years you may be wondering (and if you're not.. you should be). I went to help my dad jump his car, and realized that this simple act scares the CRAP out of me!! And it always has!

But just so you know, I am willing to help! I'll bring my car.. I'll even push the gas pedal! Just PLEASE, PLEASE don't ask me to touch the jumper cables!

What phobias do you have?

Contrary to what this picture shows, they are in fact ecstatic about getting this house!

Day Two(ish)

Random thought that has been on my mind forever:

If a gas tank's automated machine ASKS if you want a receipt, why is there always a collection of unclaimed receipts piling up behind the little door? Maybe I'm old fashioned or something, but if I say yes that I want a receipt, I actually make the effort to take that receipt. Could just be me.

Look At Me, I'm Already A Day Behind

So this is me, always late. It's National Blogging Something-Or-Other Month, and typical me, I'm slow on the get go. I have decided that it is physically impossible for me to be on time... for ANYTHING. I read a magazine article a month ago that stated that this meant that I was lazy, and had no respect for others. I debate this reasoning. I am positive that there is a disease out there, Chronic Unpunctuality Disorder maybe? Or the author of that article was right... you can decide.
